Your style is up to you, but consider your audience – which typically would be educated, well read, but likes brevity, spirit and cleverness. If you do a more traditional journalistic or reporter type news story, make sure you have all the facts correct and can validate them. Creative articles, stories and the like do not have to be validated, but they have to be original. Your editor will validate your content is original before publishing. Q: What do you consider as ‘publishable?’ A: If you bang out 15 blogs, all starting with ‘yo’ bro, got up and had some awesome brekkie, mate.” we can guarantee that you will not get published. Write from the heart, give it your soul, make it good. The better the content, the more we’ll publish. A good way to measure is, if you’re writing only for the money, this site is not for you. Q: What do I need to get started? A: All you need is access to the internet, an email address, and a paypal account so we can pay you. When your register, please supply us with 3 URL links to your best online work so we can see the quality of your work. Q: I’m from outside of the US, can I participate? A: Absolutely. You will need a paypal account for payment. Q: Can you pay me through something other than paypal? A: Sorry, paypal’s the only way at the moment. Please make sure you are able to create an account on paypal.com before registering. Q: How much can I make? A: How fast can you write great articles that people enjoy reading? We’re looking for very high quality, original writing that is grammatically correct. Of course, no spelling errors and it should be written in your own words. The story has to be engaging. So the more you can hit the mark with stories that inspire, entertain and educate the better. Q: When will I get paid? A: Blabbo pays on the 5th day of every month for the previous month. For example, if you write and publish 10 articles in November, with categories worth $4., on the 5th of December, you’ll get a deposit in your paypal account for $40. Q: Okay, what’s the fine print? A: blabbo.com (a web property of Origin Media LLC) acts as a publishing clearing house in the Marketplace for various owned and third party Articles, ezines and other online media portals. It hires writers, reporters and journalists (Herein after referred to as “Writer”) on a freelance basis to write articles and stories about various topics. General article entries are at the discretion of the Writer and if they are published, the Writer is compensated for the entry. REVIEWS & APPROVALS. All Writers are able to add as many articles as they like in blabbo.com, adhering to industry standard writing guidelines. Articles will be reviewed by blabbo editorial staff and if accepted and published, the Writer will be compensated according to the payment rate and terms. TRANSPARENCY & DISCLOSURE. Blabbo does not require full disclosure on its writing because it does not promote a special relationship between the Writer and an advertiser. Blabbo operates in the traditional ‘reporter’ or freelance journalist methodology and the Writer is paid for his or her original article. FULFILLMENT OF COMPENSATION. Writers will be compensated by the 5th day of the following month for all articles published through blabbo’s network, Origin Media LLC, or partner networks during the calendar month. All payments are made via PayPal in US Dollars. You must supply your paypal email in order to receive payments. All payments are made on the 5th day of the following month for the month’s published blogs. For example, a Writer has 5 published blogs at $4 each for the month of December. On January 5th, payment will be submitted to paypal. In addition, Writer acknowledges that Writer is: (i) not an employee of Blabbo, (ii) responsible for the payment of all federal, state and local taxes on compensation received from an Advertiser, (iii) responsible for any reporting requirements imposed by the federal, state or local government, and (iv) responsible for compliance with all other applicable laws and regulations. Writer must file all appropriate federal required paperwork with blabbo in order to receive payment. ASSIGNMENT OF COPYRIGHT By creating an account on blabbo.com, and accepting the Terms of Agreement, Writer does hereby sell, assign, and transfer to Origin Media LLC, its web properties, successors and assigns, the entire right, title and interest in and to the copyright in the Work and any registrations and copyright applications relating thereto and any renewals and extensions thereof, and in and to all works based upon, derived from, or incorporating the Work, and in and to all income, royalties, damages, claims and payments now or hereafter due or payable with respect thereto, and in and to all causes of action, either in law or in equity for past, present, or future infringement based on the copyrights, and in and to all rights corresponding to the foregoing throughout the world. ARTICLE ELIGIBILITY. In order to participate in the Blabbo Marketplace, Writer must register article(s) with Blabbo and meet the minimum eligibility requirements. Blabbo will not accept certain Articles and Writers as determined by Blabbo at its sole discretion.
